The
Sarasota Jungle Gardens, open to the public since 1940, features the
Birds of Prey exhibit, the Critters and Things exhibit, Reptile
Encounter, the Birds of the Rainforest exhibit and the Meet the Keeper,
which is a brief talk with the animal handlers.
The
Sarasota Jungle Gardens has hotels nearby that are great for
early-risers who want to beat the crowds. The Sarasota Jungle Gardens
is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. all year (closed on Christmas Day);
prices start at $8 for children, $12 for adults and $11 for senior
citizens. The theme park is near Interstate 75.
