Things to do Treasure Island, FL beachesOne of the many things that attract travelers to the Tampa Bay area are the beautiful beaches of the Gulf, and there is no better time to experience the beauty of the water than during sunset. Treasure Island Beach Trail is once again hosting Saturday Sunsets, a sunset celebration. From June to September, Saturday Sunsets gives people an excuse to get outside and gather with Treasure Island locals every first and third Saturdays of the month from 5m to 9pm.

Saturday Sunsets is set for August 6 and 20, with the final sunset celebration taking place on September 3. Saturday Sunsets is a free family event that showcases live entertainment, local artisans, a Hippo Water Slide, creative performances, food vendors, and more! Musical acts including The Tridents, Michael Young, and Calamity Jane will be hitting the stage as well as creative performers ranging from break dancers and jugglers to fire eaters and magicians.

Treasure Island Beach Trail is located between 104th and 108th Avenues, less than a 10 minute walk down from our hotel. If you choose to drive, you can park at the beach all day for only $5 or at the nearby Treasure Island Community Center for $4.
